Managing Drinking Water Quality in the Northwest Territories outlines a safe drinking water framework and strategy for the NWT, based on a review of other Canadian jurisdictions and the specific needs of the NWT.
This map includes all watersheds of the Northwest Territories (NWT) to the sub-basin level. The Mackenzie River Basin, Canada’s largest river basin, is highlighted along with its sub-basins. Also shows the established and candidate protected areas in the sub-basins of the NWT.
With the NWT Ecosystem Classification Photo Map you can view the thousands of photographs collected as part of the NWT Ecosystem Classification program, visually documenting the NWT landscape.
Photos taken along the displayed flight lines are viewable by zooming in to a minimum scale of 1:1,000,000 then hovering over a photo point to pop-up the image(s) at that location. Once zoomed in, the flight lines turn off and the photo points become visible.
You can also generate reports of a selected photo(s) and its attributes by using the 'Create a Photo Summary Report'. Use the drawing tools to make a selection.
