Independent Evaluation
An independent evaluation takes place every five years to assess progress and outcomes of activities undertaken by water partners. Evaluations help identify emerging challenges and provide recommendations to informs the subsequent Action Plan.
The first independent evaluation of the Strategy took place in 2015. A second independent evaluation was completed in the fall of 2020, assessing progress on the 2016-2020 Action Plan and making recommendations for the current Action Plan 2021-2025. The third evaluation took place in 2025 to assess the effectiveness and success of the 2021-2025 Action Plan and to guide the development of the next Action Plan.
