Get ready for the 17th Annual Water Stewardship Implementation Workshop! Hosted by the Department of Environment and Climate Change, Water Monitoring and Stewardship Division, this two-day event will bring together water partners from across the NWT and beyond who care deeply about our waters, communities, and shared future. Together, we will continue advancing the vision of the NWT Water Stewardship Strategy: The waters of the NWT will remain clean, abundant, and productive for all time.
Over two days, participants will reflect on shared progress as we work toward the next five-year Water Strategy Action Plan, while also sharing updates on innovative programs, research initiatives, and community-led monitoring efforts that are strengthening stewardship across the territory. Participants will also have opportunities to deepen partnerships, explore the vital role of youth in shaping the future of water stewardship, and contribute to the continued advancement of the Water Strategy across the NWT.
We look forward to welcoming water partners to this year’s event as we celebrate achievements, explore new ideas, and continue working together to advance water stewardship across the NWT under the theme: Healthy Water for Healthy Generations.
