Notre rôle

L’eau douce est essentielle au maintien de la vie. Les Territoires du Nord-Ouest (TNO) regorgent d’eau douce. Cette eau est essentielle à la santé de l’écosystème et au bien-être social, culturel et économique des résidents du territoire. Les Ténois dépendent de l’eau et des écosystèmes aquatiques pour leur subsistance, leurs loisirs et leur transport.

Calling all NWT youth! Do you have a project idea for water stewardship in your community?

The NWT Youth Water Stewardship and Mentorship Grant Program provides funding to youth 18 to 30 years old for projects that support the goals and vision of the NWT Water Stewardship Strategy.

The deadline to apply has now passed. The next application period will open in Spring 2023

Registration is now closed.

The 13th Annual NWT Water Stewardship Strategy Workshop and 2nd Annual NWT Climate Change Advisory Gathering will take place October 25-27, 2022 at the Chief Drygeese Centre, in Dettah, NT. 

This year's theme is "Adapting to Change and Building a Resilient Northwest Territories."

It details the achievements of the joint implementation of Northern Voices, Northern Waters: NWT Water Stewardship Strategy, in addition to providing current information about water, ecosystems, and watersheds in the NWT.
