Northern Waters in a Changing Climate: 10th Annual NWT Water Strategy Workshop October 22-23, 2019
The 10th Annual NWT Water Stewardship Strategy Implementation Workshop took place at the Chief Drygeese Centre in Dettah, NWT on October 22-23, 2019.

The workshop brought water partners together to share recent implementation work and discuss how we can continue to work together towards the vision of the Water Stewardship Strategy.

Under the theme of Northern Waters in a Changing Climate, the workshop focused on the intersections between climate change and water resources and fostered the exchange of ideas, stories and research findings to facilitate collaboration, relationship-building and shared learning among water partners. This theme reflects the need to work together strategically across issues of water and climate change to achieve the vision of the Water Stewardship Strategy

Water partners are anyone with a role in water stewardship. This includes governments, Indigenous organizations, communities, regulatory boards, non-government organizations, industry and researchers.

A workshop report will be published in the next few weeks and made available at nwtwaterstewardship.ca. For more information about the 2019 workshop please contact:
