Things to consider when drafting/submitting your proposal:

  • Workshop Audience: The workshop will host a diverse group of participants, representing Water Partners that are working to protect and safeguard water, across the NWT. Presenters can anticipate that the audience will be comprised of participants with varying levels of knowledge and experience.
  • Presentation Formats: Though there will be some time set aside during the workshop for the more ‘formal’ presentations, presenters are encouraged to think ‘outside-the-box’ and come up with ways to make their presentations/sessions interactive and engaging for participants. Panel talks/discussions, break-out/workshop sessions, storytelling, skill development and hands-on activities, and videos are just some alternative formats presenters are encouraged to consider.
