2017 Youth Water Stewardship Photo and Video Contest is NOW OPEN!

Please enter photos and videos using the online submission form, available here.

Youth aged 25 and under from across the NWT are invited to enter up to two photos OR one video (maximum three minutes) that show why they #loveNWTwater. The rivers, lakes, streams and ponds of the NWT are an essential part of northern life and we are encouraging youth to share why they #loveNWTwater through photography or video. We are hoping to see entries from every community in the NWT!

Contest entries will be displayed at the Water Stewardship Strategy Implementation Workshop in Dettah, NT on November 22-23, 2017. Water partners attending the workshop will vote to choose the winning photos and videos. Prizes will be awarded to the winning photo and video submissions in each of the two age categories: ages 13 and under, and ages 14 to 25. Top entries will also be featured on here, on the NWT Water Stewardship website, and the #loveNWTwater campaign website.

Submissions will be accepted online until November 6, 2017.

Please enter photos and videos using the online submission form, available here.

You will be asked to provide basic information about yourself, a caption telling us why you #loveNWTwater, and a signed photo consent form.

The 2016 contest was a huge success with more than 50 submissions from youth across the NWT. We hope to build on this success for the 2017 contest, and look forward to your submissions!
